Career choices require in-depth analysis of multiple parameters so its always better to start planning early.
It gives the child a lot of time to plan things out and discover and explore their options.

There is no particular age as such. It depends on the child and the environment he is subjected to. Many develop career inspiration by the time they enter 6-7 std and find one subject more interesting then the other or a particular stream more suitable then the other. Some develop their interest in much younger age when they starts acting as a particular professional in make belief plays, and some make a decision much later in life when they get electives and they have to decide finally what will be the most suitable option for them. And if worked with proper determination and hard work all the above 3 scenarios are fine.

Hello nanda,
I believe that the proper age for a child’s career aspiration should be 12-14 years, because at that age they’ start to understand different aspects of life and what kind of career they want to pursue,
If some gets that prospective before that age that should also be fine, because every child’s growth is different from one another.
