For a great resume you can follow a pre-defined structure given by the latest MS Word. If not, then there are certain key points to remember.

1. You should align all the matter from the left side only.
2. sequence should be, you name and contact details, the your academic, after that your achievements in co-curricular and extra curricular activities and at last your work experience (if any).
3. Some companies demands strength, weaknesses, hobbies and interest too, many companies don’t. So you will have to modify accordingly.
4. Earlier it was necessary to put declaration that all the information is put by you only, but now it is not required. But still if you put it there is no harm in it. Just make sure if you are applying in a big MNC the please don’t include the declaration.
